Feed 3 mL of formula
every 4–5 hours — yes, that includes overnight feedings at first! Increase amounts slowly — no more than 0.5 mL at a time, with at least 2 days between increases. Do not go beyond 5 mL per feeding.
Offer soft solids by hand before daytime feedings, one new food at a time. Keep a small bowl in the cage so they can explore on their own schedule. Weaning usually happens between 12–16 weeks — and don't be surprised if they temporarily want formula again during the transition. Totally normal!
Always use the "marmoset hold" — support them under the arms and over your shoulder. Handle them often, be consistent, and be gentle. Trust takes time, but it's everything.
Start rules and routines right away — don't wait! Discipline should be immediate, calm, and emotionless. No hitting — strong words and a brief time-out work best. If you start something (like diapering), see it through every time.
Healthy stool is firm and well-formed. Some softness during diet changes is normal. If anything seems off — contact us right away! We may ask for a photo or description to help assess.

Use a quality UVA/UVB bulb (like ReptiSun 5.0) and replace it every 6–12 months. New bulbs can be strong — introduce gradually to avoid sunburn.
